ABOUT US
International Undergraduate Student Ministry is an official UT Austin student club (aka registered student organization) and community for international undergraduate students! It’s often hard for new international students to get used to being in a new country, and so we want to be a home away from home where international students can make new friends, eat good food, do fun activities, talk about meaningful topics, and go through the ups and downs of life together!
We offer things like a Welcome to Texas BBQ, Friday fun gatherings with other international students, bubble tea and chat about meaningful topics, campus/Austin tours, English conversation help, shopping for Asian groceries at 99 Ranch/H-Mart, American host family dinners, sports tournaments (ping-pong, badminton, soccer, volleyball), fun trips and activities, study times with other students, community service, holiday celebrations like Lunar New Year Celebration and Mid-Autumn Festival, and Night Market (夜市) with yummy food.
The group is hosted by Christian UT students and alumni, but our student group has members of all religious backgrounds, and is open to students of any spiritual/religious/ethnic background. Whether you’re looking to have fun, make new friends, or talk about meaningful topics, you’re at the right place.

We always try to find places to have fun together. You can find us outdoors (if it’s not hot) or indoors playing board games at our homes!
MEANING
We have meaningful conversations about the deeper questions of life. We discuss all perspectives (Christian, atheist, etc.) and respect and welcome students from any background.
FRIENDS
We build long-lasting friendships and create meaningful and fun memories as we live life together, going through all the ups and downs.
